Biography:

Brian is a Partner and serves as the a Co-Coordinator of Quality Control for Arnett Carbis Toothman LLP.

Brian provides specialized internal control related services to clients in a wide range of industries, with a primary focus in auditing captive insurance companies and manufacturing and distribution companies.  Brian’s services also include internal control evaluation and forensic accounting services.  He also serves as the Firm’s Quality Control Co-Coordinator with responsibilities to include the oversight monitoring of the Firm’s system of quality control, including compliance with professional standards, providing technical consultations on audit and accounting matters to clients, review of financial statements, and presenting continuing education on audit and accounting subjects, both internally and externally.  Prior to joining the Firm, Brian worked for both a Big Four Firm and a regional firm where he focused on providing assurance and advisory services to clients in a variety of industries.

Brian is a graduate of Saint Vincent College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), where he is currently serving on the Accounting and Auditing Procedures Committee for the PICPA.  He has been recognized by the PICPA as one of the “40 Under 40 to Watch” in the accounting profession.  Brian is also a member of the Coalition for a Prosperous America, where he co-chairs the Working Group for Fair Trade and Smart Tax.

He is a graduate of The Rainmaker Academy, an intensive sales, marketing, and leadership development program, and The Leadership Academy which focuses on executive coaching, as well as performance management, leadership assessment, and development.
