Arnett Carbis Toothman Continues to Grow

CHARLESTON – January 1, 2019. Arnett Carbis Toothman LLP (ACT) is pleased to announce, Patrick M. Smith, CPA, ABV, CGMA, has been promoted to Partner.

With his promotion, Patrick becomes the head of the firm’s litigation support services practice and co-leader of the business valuation group.  Before returning to public accounting and joining ACT, Patrick was the financial controller for the North American operations of a global automotive parts manufacturer and was the Chief Financial Officer of a coal mining company.  Patrick serves clients operating in a variety of industries, which include professional services organizations, construction, real estate, health care, manufacturing, natural resource extraction, retail and wholesale. Patrick also combines his passion for his profession with his passion for serving the community. He is present Chair of the Charleston, WV Area Tax Group and is an Advisory Board member for two organizations: the Marshall University Lewis College of Business Division of Accountancy and Legal Environment, and The Salvation Army, Charleston, WV Area Command.
